Ciacca is a tiny hamlet in the Abruzzo Mountains in Italy; it is now empty of people and falling to ruin. It is birth place of my wife's ancestors.
Anyone with the surname of DiCiacca, or Diciacco or any other spelling variant originally came from this place which dates back to the Middle Ages.
